A lot of roads in the Puna subdivisions are gravel or unpaved, and loose rock chips paint along the lower doors and the front end. In the humid Puna air, those chips are where rust starts.
When rust has already come through, we cut it back to clean metal, treat and rebuild the panel and repaint it so it is sealed.

Yes. Chipped and scratched panels are prepped and refinished with a factory match blended into the rest of the car. If rust has started, it is cut back to clean metal and sealed first.
